My family was so lucky to have been referred to Megan as a postpartum doula. By the time I was given her name, we’d nearly given up on finding someone, but it turns out Megan was the one we’d been waiting for! She was down to earth and easygoing from the start, and we felt comfortable right away. She was also flexible in terms of start/end dates when our twins needed to spend time in the NICU.

Our boys flourished under her attentive care on our “Megan nights,” and she did a wonderful job helping us catch up with the baby and household chores that feel impossible to do in the early postpartum days. She sent us detailed messages in the morning about how it went overnight, always alerting us when one of the boys did something unexpected (or expected) so we could take action if needed. She was available anytime by text and always armed with endless suggestions for newborn things we encountered, tailored especially for twins.

Something we didn’t know is that a postpartum doula who is fantastic at their job doesn’t simply help with the babies and chores— they nurture and care for the parents just as much, if not more. Megan is extra good at that part because of her background in counseling and volunteer work with a local tribe. We started to look forward to our Megan nights not only because of the sleep we got, but also because we felt we were about to see a good friend who was truly invested in how we were doing in our parenthood transition. She held space for our worries and concerns, offered gentle considerations for us to think about, and gave us knowledgeable guidance when we didn’t know what we didn’t know about being new parents. We so appreciate Megan’s presence in our lives and think back fondly and gratefully about the tender, expert care she gave all four of us. I’d recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking! - Kaitlin

I was on the fence about hiring a doula from the beginning since we were delivering at a birthcenter with midwife. I thought I would have enough support but thought it might be nice for my husband to have someone to support him as well. After talking more about it, my husband convinced me it would be better to be over prepared and hire one rather than not have one and wish we did.

From the moment we met Megan we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She was kind, informative and just what we were looking for. She was there for us prenatally, during the labor & birth and postpartum. She was available to us leading up to the birth for any questions we had and had referrals for anything we needed such as back up doula, CPR classes, breastfeeding classes, pediatrician, etc. When I went into labor we were on the phone with her every few hours as I labored through the night. She checked in with us if we forgot to call and came to our home as soon as we thought we needed her there. When my labor seemed to stop progressing she provided us with some spinning babies moves to try that really got things going. Within 2 hours of Megan arriving at our home we were off to the birth center! She made sure to keep me hydrated and reminded my husband to eat & drink during labor as well. She took pictures when she could & I will cherish the documentation of our first moments together as a family.

Postpartum she provided me with placenta smoothies, placenta encapsulation, breastfeeding support & referrals and anything else I could possibly think of. Not to mention the constant reassurance that we were doing a great job. We truly could not have done it without her. Hiring Megan was the best thing we could have done and we would not hesitate to do it again! -Danielle

When we were pregnant and in need of information and resources, we hired Megan to be our doula and we were SO pleased with the expertise and care she provided. She was an amazing wealth of knowledge and helped us prepare for the birthing process in every way possible. She had regular check ins and visits with us and took a real interest in how we were doing mentally as well as physically. She helped me prepare to be a great partner during pregnancy and childbirth and I could not have supported my partner in the way I was able to without her expert guidance. We went into the birthing process totally confident and prepared and when things didn't go according to plan she stayed by our side all night and all day and was a crucial resource helping us make decisions on the fly, while also allowing us the space, independence and compassion we needed. Megan helped us with so many resources after birth in the early weeks of our new baby's life and I'll always be grateful for the services she provided and for the others in the birthing and newborn care community she referred us to. Megan is amazing! -Robbie

I cannot recommend Megan highly enough. She was an absolute lifeline during my postpartum period. Her support, kindness, and expertise were invaluable. She helped me navigate the challenges of new motherhood with grace and patience, always providing a listening ear and practical advice. Megan was not only a professional but also a comforting presence who truly cared about my well-being and that of my baby. Thanks to her, I felt more confident and supported during this crucial time. If you are looking for a postpartum doula who will go above and beyond, Megan is the one you want by your side. - Raquel

Megan was absolutely wonderful. She helped take care of our newborn postpartum for a couple months. She did day shifts and overnights. While she wasn't our pregnancy/birth doula, I have no doubt that she would have been awesome at that. She is extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, and caring. She has a magic touch with babies and could soothe ours with ease. She's a great listener and good at talking through issues and brainstorming solutions. We are first time parents and our baby is colicky, so its been a very rough introduction to parenthood. Megan's help and support through it all has been invaluable.  -Matt
